For the 12 time in the last 16 years, India’s No 1 tyre manufacturer, MRF Ltd, was ranked highest in customer satisfaction in the J D Power Asia Pacific 2016 India Original Tyre Satisfaction Study for Passenger Cars and SUVs. MRF is the only tyre brand in India to have won 12 J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Awards, an outstanding achievement.
Nearly 3500 owners of different vehicle models who participated in the study, ranked MRF tyres as the best in four of the five factors determining overall satisfaction with the tyres – appearance, durability, ride ,traction and handling. MRF performs particularly well in appearance as per the Study which was published by the J D Power Singapore Office.
“The biggest reward, however, still remains the trust reposed in Brand MRF by its customers that has propelled it to leadership position and maintained it there for close on thirty years at the top of the tyre industry” said Mr Koshy K Varghese Executive Vice President - Marketing.
As per the study 59% of customers indicate they purchase their tyres at an authorised tyre store, recognising this MRF has made several initiatives in popularising the MRF T&S Tyre Service Outlets all over India in the recent months.
J.D. Power 2016 India Original Equipment Tyre Customer Satisfaction Index (TCSI ) Study , now in its 16th year, measures satisfaction among Original Equipment tyre owners during the first 12 to 24 months of ownership The study is based from new vehicle owners who purchased their vehicles between May 2013 and August 2014. The field work for the study was conducted between May and August 2015.
