The growing popularity and success of the MRF Pace Foundation is spreading even beyond the borders of India. Students from overseas include the quartet from the Australian Institute of Sports, Cricket Academy, Adelaide - Glen McGrath, Mark Atkinson, Paul and Troy. From neighbouring SriLanka

came four lads - Chaminda Vaas, Pramod Vikramasinghe, Dilip Liyanage and Ravindra Pushpakumara. Following their training at the MRF Pace Foundation, all four have earned places on their National teams, with Vaas spearheading the Sri Lankan pace attack. Players from Zimbabwe and South Africa come for a training stint at the MRF Pace Foundation. All this speaks for itself, for the nurturing of potential talent at the MRF Pace Foundation.

Several of the MRF Pace Foundation's students have been selected to play for the Indian National team. Subrato Banerjee and Vivek Razdan began the trend with their creditable performance in international cricket, which brought them not only due recognition, but also the opportunity to prove their skills against some of the world's best teams.

The selection of Javagal Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad, into the Indian team heralds a promising future for Indian cricket. The MRF Pace Foundation seeks to produce in this duo, a devastating pair, in the likes of Jeff Thomson and Dennis Lillee. The increasing emphasis on pace bowling in Indian Cricket, offers a conducive climate for these two players to go hunting for International glory.
